Puzzle Parlor Privacy Policy

Effective 14 October 2026

Puzzle Parlor is a jigsaw puzzle app. It has no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking. This page explains the small amount of data the app handles.

Data stored on your device

Your puzzle progress (which puzzles you have started, piece positions, times, move counts, and your settings such as table colour and pinned puzzles) is saved in the app's local storage on your device. It never leaves the device unless you turn on sync.

Optional sync

If you choose to turn on sync, the app creates a random sync code. Your puzzle progress is then stored under that code on our server (Cloudflare Workers KV) so you can continue the same puzzles on another device by entering the same code. The sync data contains only puzzle progress. It does not contain your name, email address, or any other personal information.

Anyone who knows your sync code can read and change the progress stored under it, so treat the code like a password. To stop syncing, turn sync off in the app. You can also ask us to delete the data stored under your code by emailing the address below.

Server logs

The app and the sync service are hosted on Cloudflare. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare may record standard connection information such as IP addresses and request times for security and operation of the service. We do not use this information to identify you. Cloudflare's own privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Children

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Purchases

If you bought the app through an app store, the store (Google or Apple) handles the payment under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
